Novelsphere.js - Visual Novel programming for Beginners
Welcome to the Novelsphere.js (prev: o2 Engine) beginner tutorial.
If you where ever curios how visual novels are made or you want to learn some easy programming this video is just right for you. Nowadays there are many Novel Game engines out there that enable you to easily make a game just by drag and drop. If you just want to finish a product I would definitely recommend those! This engine is very finicky, has many issues and you have to do everything by code. For those reasons it is more suited if you care for learning about the process of making a game, rather then the finished product.
In this video we will go over the basics you need to know in order to set the groundwork for your game.
