Squad just dropped patch 7.2 and it’s completely changed the weapon mechanics for all weapons in the game, and it feels really good! Not only have they added quad bikes, a new APC, manual bolt cycling on snipers and map voting as well as crunching over 100 bugs, but they’ve also drastically reduced scoped weapon bobbing and greatly improved iron sights handling. This version of Squad may just be it’s best, and is the perfect time to jump in as a new player or return as an old player. In this gameplay video I explore the new weapon mechanics, offer my take on the changes and also use some of the new content like the quad bike and the snipers.
