Fire Bros. annoy me, but devously placed Boomerang Bros. annoy me even more. You know their boomerangs are going to return, but it's hard to tell just how far they go out before they double back around. And unlike in Super Mario Galaxy 2, you can't disable their boomerangs.
The clouds are also kind of annoying. They remind me of the electrified floor in Sonic CD's Wacky Workbench, which bounces Sonic like a hundred feet into the air whenever he touches it. If you've ever played that game, you'll know what I mean. It is, beyond a doubt, the most annoying stage I've ever played in a 2-D Sonic platforming game. The clouds here are not nearly as annoying as that, as you can see where you're going and it doesn't bounce Mario so high that the screen has to scroll up. I do like how they sing along to the music though.
Also, as you can see, I ended this stage with a timer countdown ending in "66," and that got me a Mini Mushroom. That's how I can get a steady supply of them. I'm not sure how to get them in New Super Luigi U though.
