And now, here comes World 7! Regardless of the circumstances, I realized Super Mario Maker will be here in just a couple of months, which means I ought to finish uploading this run before it comes out! For the record, I have finished this a while ago. I've just been sitting on it because Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart took priority.
World 7 is just like the other World 7s of previous New Super Mario Bros. games in that it's themed on clouds. This means it's a set of stages with little solid ground to stand on and a lot of enemies and pieces of scenery designed to shove Mario right off.
We begin with a cliffside leading into Meringue Clouds, where flocks of Waddlewings seem to congregate. For some reason, the Waddlewings seem a lot harder to dodge here than before, but I guess that's the skill of the Super Mario stage designers for you: By changing enemy placement and terrain, early-game enemies can be much harder to deal with. Consder that Goombas have traditionally appeared all the way to the end of a Mario game despite being the most basic of enemies, for one...
The rest of this stage consists of a ride down a particularly solid cloud. It takes the most unfortunate path for Mario, full of Piranha Plants, more Waddlewings, and brick blocks that assemble and disassemble as Mario passes by, but we all know Mario is a thrill seeker. He wouldn't have it any other way.
