Number Keys not Working in Windows 10 /11
If your number lock keys are not working on Windows 10 or 11, this video explains how to troubleshoot the issue. Typically, if you're using a full-sized keyboard, the number pad on the right-hand side should be functional. Some keyboards, especially compact ones, may not have a dedicated number pad on the right side, but if you do, and the keys are not working, here’s what could be causing it.
First, check if the *Number Lock* key (Num Lock) is disabled. This key is usually located near the top left of the number pad on the right-hand side. If the *Num Lock* is off, the number pad will not function as expected. Simply press the *Num Lock* key to enable it, and your number keys should start working again.
If your keyboard doesn't have a dedicated number pad, this issue won't occur as the numbers on the top row will function without the need for *Num Lock**. However, for full-sized keyboards, ensure that **Num Lock* is on to use the number pad properly.
