So NVIDIA has decided to drop DX10 GPU (8 series, 9 series, GTX 2xx) driver support. In other words, there will be no new drivers for said GPUs, despite many affected models being in the top used GPU rankings on Steam, and despite over 12% of Steam still using DX10 capable GPUs with Vista/7/8/8.1.

In other words, these GPUs will soon go the way of the Dual Core CPU, 1/2/4gb ram being all you need, and Windows XP.
