NVIDIA GeForce 6200 and GeForce 6800 Demonstration at CES 2005 (GamePlasma.com Archive)
GamePlasma talks with Mike Hall from NVIDIA's Notebook Engineering group during the 2005 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mike demonstrates the NVIDIA GeForce series, starting with the casual game LEGO Star Wars being played on the GeForce 6200 followed by the power of the higher end GeForce 6800 showing off with Doom 3 and The Sims 2.
"Instead of carrying around a 15 lb tower and a 40 lb CRT, you stick this in your backpack and be competitive at a LAN party."
The NVIDIA GeForce series truly revolutionized both gaming and computing, positioning laptops (or "notebook computers" as they used to be called) in a competitive range with hardcore gaming PC rigs.
