The latest Nvidia GPU drivers let you enable GSync on monitors that have normal adaptive sync and FreeSync support, but not GSync modules. However, they've only validated 12 out of 400 monitors tested so far, and your mileage may vary (wildly) if you enable it on non-validated monitors. Here's an example of things not working all too well.
