Nvidia RTX Graphics card with Ray tracing and DLSS ? RTX 2070, RTX 2080, RTX 2080ti is a video on the Graphics cards that nvidia has come up with. This video will cover all details about Nvidia RTX graphics card and the details including Ray tracing and DLSS.
Their has been a lot of talk about the Nvidia RTX card with ray tracing capabilities. Its clear that to buy one of these cards you will have to pay a premium price. Nvidia has said that you should expect 35 to 125 percent better performance on 4k games that can take advantage of RTX cards over the GTX 1080. If you play games that do not have ray tracing capabilities or other special effects like DLSS you would still see significant improvement in 4k gaming over the 10 series graphics cards.
Nvidia also showed some performance numbers that show how much juice the cards have. It definitely looks worth buying and the performance looks pretty amazing when compared to the 10 series graphics cards. And the best part is that instead of GDDR5 you would see GDDR6 in the cards so it will for sure give a boost im the numbers.
You would get the ray tracing capabilities that are only applicable on a few games with the likes of battlefield 5, Metro Exodus, shadow of tomb raider and a some other titles. The difference between RTX on and RTX off looks pretty darn good. The other selling point for RTX graphics cards is DLSS that is deep learning supersampling. Dlss uses Artificial intelligence and deep learning to smooth edges just like other anti aliasing techniques by the way you can learn about AI here and i would request you to plug in your earphone if you want to watch that video anyways Some games that support DLSS are not looking bad either you would get better visual with better performance as shown in the event. This was a problem that a lot of people faced and now with DLSS the problem is solved to an extend and only for few games like atomic heart, final fanticy 15, hitman 2 and other titles as well.
So all of this is perfect right? I should pre order or buy one right away. Hold on we have talked about things that nvidia has spoken about now lets talk about the practical scenarios. Do you remember the time when AMD Ryzen was launched? The games were tested bechmarks results were shown in the event but the performance that the consumer expected was not delivered initially and it was not because the chips did not have the horse power I mean look at the ryzen chips now the performance is amazing. The reason that the ryzen chips did not deliver what we were expect was that the games were not optimized for 8 cores cpu AMD had issues with the drivers for the architecture and we also saw some memory problems. Similarly buying Nvidia RTX cards is not a bad choice but we are talking about a GPU which does not have the drivers completely developed, the games that are still not fully playable and an architecture that has some effects like ray tracing and DLSS that are only supported by few games. We are not sure about anything. If you still want to buy one of the RTX cards great (thumbs up) I will leave a link in the video description to order one but if you want to have a clarity on the performance that we will get once everythig from drivers to game development is done and dusted I would request you to wait.
So the bottom line is that you are going to pay premium price for the RTX graphics cards if you have a lot of money and just want to show off the gpu go buy one. But if you want to know the improvement that you will get at the price point of $999 $699 and $499 I would request you to wait for the number and that too from the average consumer. Moreover preordering anything in my opinion is not a good decision we should wait for the reviews from consumers and then buy stuff.
