Oblivion Has MORE LOADING SCREENS Than Starfield (Side By Side Comparison)
105Prompted by yesterday's discussion on the loading screens in Starfield and how they are supposedly "immersion breaking" in THAT game, but NOT immersion breaking in Skyrim, Oblivion, or Fallout, I took the opportunity to load up Oblivion Remastered today and we did a side by side comparison between the Imperial City in Oblivion versus New Atlantis in Starfield and in just TWO districts found that Oblivion had FAR more loading screens than Starfield by comparison. Which means people who praise Skyrim, Fallout, and Oblivion while in the same breath cursing Starfield really have no legs to stand on, as their math simply doesn't hold up. Stay tuned, because we'll be taking a look at Skyrim and Fallout 4 next, and showing how THOSE games also have as many loading screen as Starfield, and potentially even more :)
