Octopath COTC GEP Beating Master Tower Floor 12 with a custom roster (no Cecily, Auguste, Fiore Ex)
8This is a custom fight requested on Discord. Floor 12 is the fight versus the duo BC100 and IC100. The restrictions are not to use mainly Auguste and Cecily. Team and loadout at the end.
I know this clear came out a little clunky but here are key points:
- Serenoa is the tank of choice because he lets the unit paired with him act every other turn and he can get rid of the pdef down debuff with his Pellet.
- The seemingly obvious choice of using Fiore EX instead of Serenoa is very hard - she usually dies T1. (I tried this a lot). This works with dodge accessories though
- If using Serenoa, antiattack is needed.
- Ideally, break with a thief carrying Yan Long's A4 accessory.
- If your Rondo is A1 or you switch Rinyuu to Crusader prayer during BC100 break 1, you probably will do much better
The reason Auguste and Cecily are so good in Master Tower 12 is because they hit weaknesses of both NPCs (Auguste hits tome and dark; Cecily hits tome and spear). This means that Auguste/Cecily could be paired with Rinyuu and do meaningful work all the time, whereas Serenoa's partner acts every other turn. Fiore EX is also amazing because she removes the need to use antiattack skills and breaks shields.
