My thoughts on this part:
This part is mainly about expanding the roads to the rest of cities for chapter 4, nothing special.
27:30 If I remember correctly, there was a sidequest in Atlasdam that talked about this book.
32:08 If you look closely around the map, you will see those sea areas with signs of some monsters (Big Crab, Fish and Lighthouse) 🤔. Now I understand what is missing in Octopath compared to old Final Fantasy games. Usually in those game, the world is truly fantasy, I mean in term of imagine. You often travel around the world, especially using a ship to go on the sea, even using something to fly to go to another world like the 2nd world, up to the moon and down to under the earth, etc. While in Octopath, we only explore the mainland regions of Orsterra. To be fair, expanding areas to other worlds is just like exploring new lands where you live, at least in the game, so even if the game doesn't have it, it's okay. But... uh, It would be great if we could fight some monsters that marked on this map, giving the feeling of exploring the ocean like how captain Leon & Tressa talk 😂
53:07 Oh yeah, forgot to check his information back then. Some people wonder why Cyrus' level is so high and still has a high failure rate on some maps, making many people feel that his path action is quite useless compared to Alfyn. Simply, some of the town is just for Alfyn's story, if the rate of Cyrus is high, there will be no place for Alfyn to show off, I mean that is his place for him to shine in his own story 😂. The requirement is also reasonable, I couldn't talk to him in the previous part because Alfyn wasn't 45 yet and Cyrus only have like 11% to talk to him, while Alfyn chapter 4 requires him to have level 45, so 45 is a fair number. That's the reason why I took him around the world, outside of expanding some areas, is also for leveling him up. Leveling up is easy now, really 😂
