Oculus Quest 2 Unboxing and First Impression || NEW All-in-One VR Headset from Facebook
10The Oculus Quest 2 is the latest VR Headset released by the Oculus Team and Facebook. In this Unboxing and First Impression video, I take a look at what you get when you open the basic 64GB version of the Oculus Quest 2 and I give you my first impression of how I felt about it and it's capabilities.
The Oculus Quest 2 does require your Facebook account to login, however setup actually was fairly easy and straightforward. I literally got going within minutes. The next-gen graphics, cinematic sound, and headset casting was true as advertised, and I was also pleasantly surprised at how light the Quest 2 was in weight compared to other headsets I've tried in the past. Like the Quest 1, the fact that the Oculus Quest 2 allows wireless capabilities, means you can take it wherever you need to go, and as long as you have a reliable internet connection, you are set.
The best point for me as a consumer, was in how cheap the Oculus Quest 2 actually was. Again, I purchased the base model at $299, and was pleasantly surprised at how well it handled everything. We'll see if this encourages more consumers to get into VR technology, but this was a good selling point for me.
