55The Misfit of Demon King Academy is a 13 episode fantasy adventure anime centered around the titular character Anos Voldigoad as he navigates a world in his newly reincarnated hybrid demon body after having been dead for over 2,000 years. While overpowered compared to his peers, he is given the label of the Misfit of Demon King Academy as his professors do not know what to make of his incredible power. In my Misfit of Demon King Academy Review, we cover character and plot analysis as we try to break down what this confusing story is all about, and whether it is worth adding to your anime watchlist.
The Misfit of Demon King Academy aired in the Summer of 2020 on Crunchyroll and was not renewed for a second season. The show is based off a light novel written in 2018 - present by Shu, and the manga was published by Square Enix. The anime adaptation was produced by Studio Silver Link and directed by Shin Onuma and Masafumi Tamura.
