As promised we once again revisit iRacing in order to cover a fairly important feature we didn't yet test with the Oculus Rift CV1: racing online! iRacing have opened up unofficial series which are not subject to license requirements and thus allow those with less online time a shot at combinations of cars and tracks that would otherwise not be possible!
The series chosen is the Dallara Dash, the car is a circa-2011 Indycar and the track is Phoenix Motor Speedway. The video features qualifying and the entire race. The stereoscopic 3D external shots were captured in replay mode using Tridef Ignition.
