We spent a few hours with Chaoss, the lead developer behind After Days (http://www.afterdays.net/), who became our virtual reality DJ for an afternoon and led us through several digital locations; including the infamous roller coaster demo and a three-story house Chaoss had custom built for the Rift in Unity.

I would say that this new technology is simply something you've got to experience with your own eyes to fully understand it. My wife and I are now both hugely excited for the future of Oculus and what that will bring in time. Equally, I'm eager to see what Chaoss will inevitably do with the unit, as he's obviously got the skill set to produce some very cool experiences for Rift adopters and is currently building After Days.

In summary, I am convinced this groundbreaking virtual reality device will alter the history of not only gaming, but also the manner in which we browse information on the Internet. (e.g. Think about the potential for a virtual shop, with item interactions possible the same as if you had walked into a store.) The Rift is both an amazing product for developers and, at the same time, the start of a digital revolution.
