Petition Link: http://www.petitiononline.com/TS4tcbd1/petition.html\n\nAbout The Cause:\nThis video was created for two reasons. Firstly, as a personal tribute to the finest FPS series ever created. Secondly, it was prompted by a November interview conducted by Eurogamer where a faint hint of Timesplitters 4 being finished and released gave fans of the series the first meaningful glimmer of hope following years of waiting.\n\nThe interview can be found here (and it's well worth reading): http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2010-11-02-whats-next-for-crytek-uk-interview\n\nUnfortunately, YT description length restrictions prevent me from outlining why this series is so good. So let's attempt the short version - no FPS comes close to doing what Timesplitters did only a few years ago. The games are still a joy to play because they were made by people who knew what they were doing, knew their audience and crammed their games so full of value that we still play them. The mechanics are solid, and when you add to that a vast array of weapons, memorable characters, quality maps, and a diverse and innovative set of game modes you have a real winner on your hands. If you haven't played the games and profess a love of FPSs then you owe it to yourself to play them.\n\n---------------------------\n\nAbout The Music:\n\nAll themes derive from Timesplitters, as you might guess, with some slight ad-libbing. All performed on a Korg Microkorg and Roland keyboard I've got lying around (which I'll use till I'm a little better at the sax or tuba!) with the exception of the beats which were programmed using Dance Ejay 3 (old school till the end!) I'm unaware of any written sheet music for Timesplitters as I simply played by ear, so can't help with anything much like that. Finally, if you wish to use this music for any purpose, feel free.\n\n---------------------------------------------------------------\nA Message For My Subscribers\n\n Firstly, I should point out that this video is a one-off, unfortunately. As far as reviewing, I've still hung my hat up for the foreseeable future, and only barely been able to make time for putting this together. In one of the more rambling videos I said I'd get back into doing it, but I feel I shouldn't jump back in until I can really improve on the quality, which has been poor for so long, and am still hindered in rig, equipment, time and will be for a while yet. For the reasons of quality I'll be deleting a whole bunch as well considering bad reviews are worth nobodies time. This isn't me being self-deprecating just realistic about what I was putting out. It's taught me a fair bit, however, and I hope that when I do one day get round to making reviews again they'll be of a far higher standard. But before signing off, let me just say again thanks once again to those people who through bleating, ill-thought out points, rambling, and whispering/shouting - to those kings among men, I extend my thanks and just wish you all the best before this light-hearted exaggeration is mistaken for sentimentality and everyone starts feeling weird! \nScottishterrierdude.
