14The best spinoff series (in my opinion) to come from Final Fantasy, here's Final Fantasy Tactics for the PlayStation!
FFT is a turn-based strategy RPG. It is familiar in the sense that alot of the classes and abilities from other FF games appear here for your characters to be. There's ALOT of customization here, and when you get later into the game your units will be considerably different than your enemy. I just wish there was some sort of multiplayer aspect here, having two armies fight against each other or something, but whatever.
The graphics are classic PS1, they aren't bad and the effects from spells and abilities look pretty cool. Soundtrack is nice, but nothing really stands out here. I don't remember any memorable tunes from the game. If you have a PSP, get the remake called "Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions" which features even more classes and characters. Or play the GBA or DS "Advance" versions, which are different games but very similar to this.
So yeah, I like this game.
