15In this Odoo tutorial, we are explaining the Approvals App in Odoo 13
With Employee Approval App, it is easy to manage your employee’s requests. One can easily configure, approvers for each request.
To start with install Odoo Approval App
From the dashboard, one can see the approval types. One can send the approval request from approval types.
Approval Types
To configure Approval Types, go to Approvals- Configuration- Approval Types
Click the CREATE button to configure a new Approval Type.
One can define here the Approval Type name, description also certain mandatories for approval.
Under Approver’s tab, one can enable Employee’s manager approval, also other individuals (if needed). Here you can also define the number with respect to minimum approval.
Click SAVE to mark changes.
Approval Requests
To proceed with approval request, go to Approvals-My Approvals-New Requests.
One can add here the Approval Subject, Request Owner Name, Category, Date, Contact and Amount.
Click SUBMIT.
Now the request is sent to the APPROVERS and they can either APPROVE, REFUSE the CANCEL request.
To withdraw the offered approval, click the WITHDRAW button.
Via going to Managers-Approvals to Review, managers can review the requests awaits his intervention.
Via clicking the request, the manager can approve the request.
