By request, I show you how to take an old game from 2000 and make it run right on the Steam Deck. Mini Car Racing is a "micro racer" from eGames (which apparently came included on a cereal box!)

In addition to getting it to run, we'll also remap the controls (all keyboard play) to work with the Steam Deck.

Note: A mouse and keyboard - as always - will make this easier to do.

GAS - R2 (UP)
BRAKE - L2 (DOWN)
STEER LEFT - LEFT DPAD (LEFT)
STEER RIGHT - RIGHT DPAD (RIGHT)
EXTRA - R4 (Space)
FRONT WEAPON 1 - A (LCTRL)
FRONT WEAPON 2 - X (LSHIFT)
FRONT WEAPON 3 - Y CAPS
REAR WEAPON - B (LALT)
