The Dead Cells SHIELD tier list was supposed to be short and sweet...well that didn't happen lol. I got a LOT of practice with shields since update 1.2 and I really think I have a lot more respect for shield users too. Keep in mind there are no new shields in Update 1.4. Remember, this is a list from my perspective - the best way to play Dead Cells is your way! If my S rank weapon is not the same as yours, that's only MY list. Feel free to keep using your favorites! However this tier list does have what I consider my best weapons and some thoughts as to why. :)

Who's the Boss Update! This patch brings 7 new weapons (one for each of the five bosses of Dead Cells, one for a certain really challenging fight, and a mystery one) thematically tied to Dead Cells' bosses. Beat them and claim their weapon as yours.
In addition to the new weapons, we welcome 6 new mobs - also thematically tied to the bosses - in the family. We hope you will love them as much as we do!
