Welcome back to the The Old Stream Farm Timelapse. To begin with, we complete the olive harvest by shaking the trees to release the olives, which we then transport to our oil factory for processing.
Our next job is to mow the grass, for which we acquire a new KVERNELAND mower and arrange the cut grass into windrows.
After mowing all the fields, we return the tractor and mowers to the yard, and proceed to pick up and prepare the mowed grass for loading into the silage trench.
Our equipment includes a forage collector and a rake with a pick-up reel, which we connect using a multifunctional dolly with rear hydraulics, a PTO shaft, a low trailer and trailer mount.
With this new tool, we can double up the windrows, collect and shred the grass, and load the silage onto the trailer for delivery to the silo bunker by truck.
