I'm gonna take you back to the past - the ancient past of the Pokémon world, that is - in this week's Pokémon TCG Live Online Match. We'll be focusing on the Restored Pokémon from the Fates Collide expansion, those being Kabuto, Omanyte, and Aerodactyl. Generally, Restored Pokémon are rather difficult to get into play, unable to be played directly from hand to the Bench, instead relying on the effect of a Trainer card to search the bottom seven cards of your deck in the hopes of finding the particular Pokémon you're searching for, which can then be played to the Bench directly from the deck. Fortunately, if we're able to get Omastar into play, its Restoring Beam Ability eliminates the need for such Trainer cards, as the Ability lets you search your whole deck for a Restored Pokémon and play it onto the Bench. This will enable us to more quickly get our heavy hitters of Kabutops and Aerodactyl into play, unleashing a serious blast from the primordial past upon our unsuspecting opponents!
