The OpenOMF project got this game working on Linux, with online play even!

Some bugs I noticed:

1.
The music occasionally cuts out.

2.
The game doesn't recognize the keyboard when it asks for your name. Either that or when you set the controls to "Joystick" for player one, the game ignores keyboard input entirely.

3.
Scraps fall straight to the ground and roll around for a while, instead of exploding outwards. Also the BIG9 code doesn't seem to make a difference in how much scrap is produced.
