OMG! Grogu Was Just Spotted in Star Wars: Rebels! Connection to Ahsoka + World Between Worlds
Ok guys so today we actually have a pretty big discovery coming out of Star Wars Rebels. It’s crazy that things are still being discovered about the show this long after the release… But I just saw this on twitter, and then immediately went to disney+ to check it was legit… That is, Grogu appearing in the Episode called A World Between Worlds. And there it is, it does actually appear on Disney+…

Now this is extremely signficant, as we know that the world between worlds is going to play a major role in the new Dave Filoni series Called Ahsoka, which is releasing in just a few months. We also have to remember the extremely eery connection between Grogu and Anakin Skywalker. That being that they were both born in the same Year, 41 BBY. This cannot be a coincidence. We know that Anakin’s miraculous birth was a response to Plagueis’ dark experiments with the midichlorians, so what was Grogu? Was grogu another response to something Sidious was doing in secret, or is it something completely separate… Only time will tell….
If we look closely, it appears that Grogu is either worshipping an angel like being through the force, or an angel is coming down to anoint him. It’s difficult to tell. Alongside him appears to be one of the Whills of the Force, who we saw in the Sixth season of the Clone Wars, and are pretty much the most powerful force beings in the Galaxy, and some even believe they created the universe and the force… That’s not confirmed in canon however. Now what’s interesting is that the Whills appeared to Yoda in the Clone Wars season 6, which is fascinating considering they are appearing to Grogu here, a member of the same species… There’s definitely something connecting these two that we don’t yet know… Maybe their species has a special affinity with the force, which is the reason every one we have met so far is force sensitive.
Ultimately, this is a very interesting discovery which I think will play heavily in to the Ahsoka show as we go forward, considering its literally season 5 of Star wars rebels. You will 100% have to have seen rebels to watch Ahsoka, despite what the crew is currently saying. You simply won’t be able to appreciate the full extent of the story if you haven’t… But does that mean Dave planted Grogu in Rebels in 2018 when this episode came out, ready for his appearance in the Mandalorian? Maybe. Season 1 of the Mandalorian was written in 2018, and was probably planned out for some time before that. He either put it in there, knowing that he would feature in the first season of the Mando, or someone in the story group later pointed out that it was there and Dave will now use the connection in the ahsoka show.
