Ness has rescued Paula from Mr. Carpainter and the Happy Happy Cult. She's through and through a Black Mage type character,excelling at offensive spells. Her HP,offense,and defense aren't so great however. She also joins Ness at Level 1,so she's going to take a bit of work to build her up. After buying some equipment for her in the village,it's time to take on Sanctuary Cave #2 on the east side of town. It wouldn't be a bad idea to fight the enemies near the start to level up Paula some,so she can become stronger and learn new Spells. Maybe try to get to at least Level 11 before the boss,so she can learn PSI Freeze Beta. The enemies in here include Moles Playing Rough,Mr. Batty,and Mighty Bears. The Bats tend to appear in groups,and can try to make you feel strange. The Bears hit hard,but can be taken out quickly with a PSI Freeze Alpha and a Bash from Ness. The Boss of this place is called Mondo Mole. It's quite strong with a few different attacks. It can also cast Lifeup,PSI Shield,and Offense Up. However,it has a major weakness to Paralysis. If you can do that,the Mole won't be able to do a whole lot. It also resists Freeze by the way. For winning,you'll record the Melody of the Lilliput Steps!
