Omi's Video Game Vault: Silent Hill
9Released for the Playstation 1 in 1999. Developed by Team Silent,and published by Konami. A psychological survival-horror game on the PS1. This was Konami's answer to Capcom's Resident Evil series. This game does have tank controls,but the camera tends to focus behind the player in most instances,with some exceptions. Like Resident Evil,the goal is to find and conserve Ammo and Health items as you go along. Dodging enemies outdoors in the streets of Silent Hill is recommended. But in more confined areas like the School,it's a better idea to fight when needed. Played up to reaching Midwich Elementary School.
