With all 12 Chozo Artifacts acquired,it's time to head for the Impact Crater. However,our old buddy Ridley isn't about to just let us go. Meta Ridley will spent most of his time flying around the area,firing plasma breath or launching missiles on the arena. Aim for his chest with Super Missiles while he's stationary,he's too quick to hit while he's moving. After he loses about 75% of his HP,he'll lose the wings and fight you on the ground. He can try to jump on you,swipe at you with his claws,still use his plasma breath,and try to ram into you and whip you with his tail. You'll have to stun him by aiming at his mouth when it's open,then target his chest to deal actual damage when he's stunned. Once defeated,it's time to traverse through the Impact Crater! There's Super Phazon here that will eat even through your Phazon Suit,so be careful. This is also home to Fission Metroids,which break apart into 2 when damaged. They spawn infinitely,so they're only here to be an annoyance and waste your Missiles/Power Bombs. The area is pretty short however,so the final boss awaits!
