Omi's Video Game Vault: Mario Party 3
0Released for the Nintendo 64 in 2001,and the final entry in the series for the console. I ended up getting this recently to be able to add it to the Vault! It's probably the best of the 3 N64 entries,and considered by many to be one of the best in the series. I'm not crazy about the Boards personally,I feel like the ones in 2 were a lot more interesting. That's just me though. Waluigi and Daisy were added as playable characters,and characters can now hold up to 3 Items at once. The big thing 3 added was Duel Mode! This side mode allows you to go head-to-head with an opponent,using allies to attack. Allies charge a flat rate of coins per turn,and disappear if you cannot pay them. The goal is to lower your opponent's HP to 0 before he does that to yours! It's honestly a really fun mode,shame that it's only in this game. I ended up playing a full light play on Deep Bloober Sea,and did a round of Dueling afterwards!
