I tried to make this DIY attachment to help improve the sliding experience on the KatWalk for those who preferred/and are more comfortable using socks just like me. KatWalk only provided shoe cover. Using socks are ok as well only you need to make sure that the platform is slippery. Adding Armor All can make the platform shine a bit and make it slippery for socks but after sometime it looses the smooth sliding.

You can try using glue but not sure if it will have a good stick on the Velcro with the polypropylene material.

Adhesive Velcro sticks to the polypropylene material but not sure if it can withstand the frequent sliding.

I not so good in sewing just trying to put those material together. It would be nice if we have bigger sheets of those material.

Socks I used is bought from Mountain Equipment Company (the Velcro sticks to it very well)
