On December 25th, 2020, OMORI was released to the world after six and a half years in development. It has now been one year since I initially fell in love with the game. In order to celebrate the anniversary and OMORI's physical release on Nintendo Switch and PS4, I would like to tell you a story about myself, how much the game means to me and how both OMORI and UNDERTALE came into my life in a similar way - almost scaringly so.

I started this project back in December 12, 2021, and originally planned to release it on OMORI’s first anniversary on December 25, 2021. However, I was struggling a lot with real-life at the time, so the project had to be put on hold. I picked it up again in February 2022 and, as par for the course, I expanded upon the project and made it more refined than I had initially planned. It’s probably my most personal video yet and so I know it’s definitely not for everyone. After roughly 100 hours, it’s finally complete and I sincerely hope you enjoy the video! Consider this my tribute to OMORI, UNDERTALE, my commentaries and the apartment my family has had for 16 years.

I originally structured the video so that the OMORI chapter came last, but I wanted the video to be more accessible to the ones who exclusively want OMORI content. As a result, the video might be a bit of a mess. The “Full Circle” aspect is more of an interesting observation that’s explained in the chapters ensuing OMORI.
