Today I’m going to show you how to earn fast EXP and Money in the early game of Pokémon Legends: Arceus. There are a couple of prerequisites we need to go over first. These are:
Unlock “Heights Camp” in “Obsidian Fieldlands”.
Acquire at least one Fire or Flying type Pokémon.
With that out of the way, let’s go!
Start off from Jubilife Village, travel to Heights Camp, run east to find a level 30 Alpha Parasect, defeat it and you’ll get a bunch of EXP and good items like Exp. Candy M. Fast travel back to Heights Camp, talk to Laventon, return to the village and repeat.
As you may know, Parasect is a Bug/Grass type Pokémon. This means that Fire and Flying type attacks will deal 4x the damage, making it easy to defeat Parasect even if you’re 10 levels under it. Depending on your level, Parasect can easily one-shot you with moves like Venoshock, that’s why it helps to have more than one Fire or Flying type in your team. To make it even more safe, you can run around the highground to the other side, drop down into the grass and crouch. Wait until Parasect is facing the other way and look for unaware icon before you engage. This will catch Parasect unaware and give you a huge advantage in battle. When you’re strong enough to survive a hit, you can save time by engaging Parasect directly. Try it out and see what works for you.
Repeating these steps will net you fast and easy EXP and money!
Now, you might be asking: “How does this make you any money?”. That comes from the aforementioned Exp. Candy M, these can be sold for 1,500 currency each. Sometimes you’ll also get a Seed of Mastery which can be sold for 3,000! So, it’s up to you if you want to use these items for EXP, mastering moves or getting more currency.
And that’s pretty much it! This might not be the most optimal farming strategy in this point of the game, it’s just something I discovered myself and thought it would be fun to share with all of you.
