It often feels like it's impossible to talk about video games without ending up talking about their price, as though the capitalism is related to the quality of the art work.
I would argue that they're independent of one another, and while the cost of games is absolutely something that should be discussed in the abstract (since, like every art work, games should be accessible), when it comes to talking about individual games, we shouldn't be linking the discourse - or our sense of their worth - to what we pay for them.
