Eine Stunde Gameplay von "MotorStorm: Apocalypse", einem Rennspiel entwickelt von den Evolution Studios und veröffentlicht von Sony im Jahre 2011 für die Playstation 3.
Im Spiel übernimmt man nacheinander die Rolle von drei Rennfahrern, welche in stetig schwerer werdenden Rennen durch eine von einer Naturkatastrophe biblischen Ausmaßes gezeichneten Stadt an verschiedenen Rennveranstaltungen teilnehmen und dabei in einer Vielzahl von Fahrzeugen und Fahrzeugtypen auf ebenso unetschiedlichen Strecken in verschiedenen Rennmodi bestehen müssen.
Als ein Spiel welches im Jahre 2011 erschien setzte "MotorStorm: Apocalpys" auf sie seinerzeit vorherrschende "2012-Endzeitstimmung" und fängt diese nahezu in Perfektion ein, die Effekte wie mitten im Rennen ganze Teile der Strecken in sich zusammenbrechen, turmhohe Gebäude einstürzen oder eine Runde später dort wo zuvor noch Straße war dann keine Straße mehr ist sind fantastisch in Szene gesetzt und auch heute noch mehr als absolut sehenswert. Wirklich schade, dass "Apocalpyse" der letzte Teil der "MotorStorm"-Reihe ist, diese Reihe hätte eine moderne Fortsetzung mehr als verdient.

In the game the player sequentially takes control over three racedrivers who are partaking in races in a city that has undergone a natural disaster of biblical proportions and are taking part in various racing events in many different cars and vehicle types on likewise different racing tracks in different racing modes.
As a game that was published in 2011 "MotorStorm: Apocalypse" went for the at its time predominant "2012-Endtime Mood" and captures it nearly flawless, the effects of whole parts of the race tracks collapsing mid race or towering buildings fall down and roads just disappearing from existence are fantastically captured and still very worth seeing even nowadays. It's a pity that "Apocalypse" would become the last entry in the "MotorStorm" series, this franchise really could do with a modern continuation.
