One Hour Of "Stray", an adventure game developed by BlueTwelve Studio and published by Annapurna Interactive in 2022 for Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and Windows PC, 2023 for MacOS, Xbox One and Series X/S and planned for a November 2024 release for the Nintendo Switch, shown here in the Windows PC version from Steam.

In the game you assume control over a little feline and soon are drawn into a dystopic city inhabited by robots, trying to make your way out of it again by making it to the top of the structure. To do so the player must direct the little cat to solve a variety of puzzles as well as some action and stealth sequences.

The game garnered rather favorable reviews for its beautiful visual aesthetics, especially how much attention was given to little details in the games world and its rather easy pick up and play gameplay, since only a very limited set of actions is possible at any given time, with everything else being context-sensitive, making it easy and intuitive to play. It's also very much liked for telling a nice and touching emotional story and despite its dystopian setting being rather on the "cozy" side of the gaming landscape.

Im Spiel übernimmt man die Kontrolle über eine kleine Katze welche es bereits kurz nach Spielstart in eine von Robotern bewohnte dystopische Stadt verschlägt, welche versucht, den Ort wieder zu verlassen indem sie die Spitze der Stadt erreichen will. Um dies zu bewerkstelligen muss der Spieler diverse Rätsel lösen wie auch einige Action- und Schleichpassagen bewältigen.

Das Spiel gefiel Kritikern vor Allem für seine wunderschöne visuelle Ästhetik, insbesondere wie sehr der Entwickler auf kleine und feine Details geachtet hat so wie sein zugängliches Spielsystem, da zu jeder gegebenen Zeit nur eine relativ limitierte Aktionspalette zur Verfügung steht und jegliche weitere Aktionen kontextsensitiv sind, was es sehr einfach und intuitiv zu spielen macht. Ebenso wird es sehr für seine berührend-emotionale Geschichte von Fans geliebt und für den Umstand, dass es trotz seines dystopischen Settings eher auf der "Cozy" Seite der Gaming-Landschaft einzuordnen ist.
