Eine Stunde Gameplay von "Tekken 8", einem Fighting Game entwickelt und veröffentlicht von Bandai Namco im Jahre 2024 für die Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S und Windows PC, hier gezeigt in der Playstation 5-Version.
Das Spiel bietet eine große Anzahl an Spielmodi und setzt im Story-Modus die in den zuvor erschienen Teilen der Serie etablierte Geschichte der Mishimade-Blutfehde und des Teufelsgens fort. Während dieser sehr düster und ernst daher kommt so werden z.B. im Arcade-Mode bei manchen Kämpfern eher lustigere, mehr Slapstick-betonte Töne eingehalten.
Neu in Tekken 8 ist das sogenannte "Heat"-System welches die Angriffe der Kämpfer vorübergehend massiv verstärkt und dann sogar Schaden bei blockenden Gegnern anrichtet.
Mit einer Riege von 32 Kämpfern bekannt aus vielen vorhergegangenen Serienteilen so wie ein paar Neuzugängen bietet das Spiel auch eine große Kämpferriege, welche auf beeindruckende Weise audiovisuell in Szene gesetzt wird, ebenso kann man die Kämpfer bis zu einem gewissen Grad sehr individuell anpassen, ein Feature welches vom Vorgänger "Tekken 7" übernommen wurde.
"Tekken 8" heimste bei seiner Veröffentlichung enorm gute Kritiken ein und dürfte wohl einer der absoluten Fighting-Game-Vorzeigetitel der Playstation 5 sein.

The game offers a great variety of modes and continues the Mishima feud and schemes around the Devil Gene that had been established in its predecessors.
While the story mode sets for a more grim and dark atmosphere, some stories of the Arcade Mode are going for a more funny and slapstick atmosphere.
New to "Tekken 8" is the so called "Heat" system in which attacks can be temporarily empowered and then even inflict damage on defending opponents.
With a roster of 32 fighters mostly known from previous Tekken installments as well as a few newcomers the game offers a great selection of fighters which are presented in a fantastic audiovisual style.
It is also possible to costumize characters to a certain degree, a feature that has been continued from its predecessor "Tekken 7".
"Tekken 8" garnered universal acclaim across the board after its publication and might be one of the absolute showcase fighting game titles for the Playstation 5.
