In this Episode of Pokémon Blue, me and my boys decide to try our hands at the Cerulean City gym. We destroy both the swimmer and the Jr. Trainer♀, which means that the mighty Mulisty is up next. Dessert puts up a fight, but he is unfortunately downed, leaving Fiver to pick up the pieces. After Misty gets messed up, she gives us the cascade badge and a TM for bubblebeam, which we hold off on using for now. Once we get the cascade badge, we check investigate a crime in one of the houses. Some punk just burglarized a poor couple, and he escaped with a TM for dig. Said punk was a part of Team Rocket, so he proved to be formidable. We still defeat him, which causes him to give away his ill-gotten gains. The owner of the house doesn't have a use for the TM, however, because his diglett was able to learn dig anyway. This means that we are able to keep it for ourselves. We then take the back exit through Cerulean City, which lands us in an underground tunnel. The underground tunnel and the route afterwards proved to be fairly easy, which means we are in the sunset-riddled Vermillion City. Inside Vermillion City, we talk to two different men. One has a healthy relationship with his habby of fishing, and the other one seems to be a little too attached to his Rapidash. These two colorful characters give us an old rod and a bike voucher respectively.
