One Minute Horror Friday the 13th
19One Minute Horror May 9, 1980 Friday the 13th was released. Friday the 13th is my favourite film & franchise. The scene with the snake was not in the script, and was an idea from Tom Savini after an experience in his own cabin during filming.
The snake in the scene was real, including its on-screen death. The snake was not found in the woods but was a pet and animal performer. The person who owned the animal wasn't told that it would get killed. The snake owner was allegedly crying on set. Tom Savini only asked if he could borrow it.
