Back in the year 2000 the original Open Gaming License (OGL) was created to support the 3rd edition of Dungeons & Dragons and has gone on to help create hundreds of thousands of games since its inception. But what was the original intention of this license and its goals? We will sit down the the co-creator of the original OGL Ryan Dancey from Alderac Entertainment Group to discuss the origin of the OGL and their goals behind its creation.
