Fallout New Vegas despite releasing in over 10 years ago still has a very active modding community, but one pain point has always been bow or crossbow mods, as prior to the release of kNVSE, only animation sets existed, meaning custom weapons had to utilise vanilla (or replaced) animations, thankfully kNVSE allows for weapons to have their own unique animations and finally allows us to have a fully animated functioning crossbow in Fallout
