One Painful Year Challenge - This Dad Plays Project Zomboid 01
1Challenge: 1 painful year challenge settings are : 6 months later + Sometimes alarms, pitch black night, very often locks, sometimes helicopter, Environmental attacks off. Instant zombification. 170h corpse removal. Car locks sometimes, car alarms rare. Zombies can open doors/windows. Zombies trigger alarms. No loot or zombie respawns, 1 week composting time.
Challenge rules are:
1) Use the Pillow's random spawn mod.
2) Can only use a hideout once. Once you die, never again. Occupying the same location more than 2 days in a row makes it a hideout.
3) No use of the world map. Don't let your viewers help you.
4) Abandon your base and move to a new town every 4 months. You must have moved on the 4th month. You may leave anytime within the prior month, at the earliest. The Country Club is considered its own town.
5) Disable all other mods (UI mods tolerated).

Project Zomboid is an open world survival horror video game in development by British and Canadian independent developer, The Indie Stone. The game is set in a post apocalyptic, zombie infested world where the player is challenged to survive for as long as possible before inevitably dying.
The aim of Project Zomboid is to survive in the fictional, zombie-ridden Knox County, which has been quarantined by the government. The player has to manage such things as hunger, tiredness, pain and mental stability to stay alive. To do this, players must scavenge for supplies to keep themselves alive for another day, while avoiding the roaming zombies. The game uses the traditional Romero style slow-moving zombies, though certain zombies are faster than others.
