One Way Bay Ep.94 - Creating a New River District - Trying to Get a Mine in Place- Cities Skylines
One Way Bay has a new suburban development project underway. We need to come up with a new name for this riverfront district so leave your suggestions in the comments below. This district will feature low density residential and a strip of commercial on the river. We've laid out a path system behind where the commercial will be placed. We also need to decide if we should zone the commercial as leisure to make the area more of a destination. The final thing that we need to decide on is the public transportation for the district. Should we put in One Way Bay's second tram system?
This episode also features some minor tweaks to the Soothill district. We place a plaza down to hopefully entice some industry to move in. We don't have demand for industry at the moment so we will have to wait to see if this plan works out. If it doesn't we will need to go in and place some schools around the area.
We have to manage our utilities in this episode as well. We turn on an incineration plant to help with our growing need of trash collection. We also add a crematorium to the Suburbia district. My new theory is that fighting death waves starts in the suburbs. If we can get new families moved in to the low density they will grow the population at a younger level.
