One Year of Playing Rainbow Six Siege | Anniversary Montage
4One year ago today, I've embarked on a journey with Rainbow Six Siege. It's a game I always knew about, and had been interested in. The only issue was: I wasn't into FPS games.
Thankfully, Ubisoft promotes and dishes out Free-to-Play weekends for Rainbow Six Siege and I have had the privilege to dabble in a few of them. Operation Chimera's final free-to-play weekend was the time I decided; I NEED THIS GAME. Of course, I had to deal with toxicity - people booting me out for being new or pretty bad at the game. But, we all had to start somewhere.
My journey began in Operation Para Bellum.
In this video; we will go through my experience with Siege for the last year! Starting in Para Bellum (close to the mid-season reinforcement) to where we stand now in Operation Phantom Sight.
The proposition of making a year-in montage started as a joke between another Siege player I met during my playtime and myself. Eventually, as I continued to form a bond with this game, that joke became a goal... A reality.
A personal goal of mine was to become one of the BEST Rainbow Six Siege players. My first placed rank in this game is at Gold 3, in Grim Sky. I've been climbing ever since! I'm at Plat's doorstep, but you know how solo-queue is... Although, I'd like to think I am a Platinum level player! Plat 2 range to be exact.
I will also be making a transition from Ps4 to PC!
Rainbow Six Siege is a game that I never saw myself getting into and I'm glad to say that I was proven wrong. It's a gem, a masterpiece. It's a game that knocks you down, and if you're the type who is willing to get back up, learn, hone your skills, and go through the experience; it is one of the best times you'll have in modern gaming! I am so happy that I took the plunge and have gotten to love this game as much as I do today.
