One Year Streamiversary - SMM2 Viewer Worlds & SA2 Wherein Every 5 Lives I Switch Sides
0A stream celebrating one year of streaming on Twitch! For this stream I decided to do two major segments - Viewer Worlds and Sonic Adventure 2 wherein every 5 lives I switch sides from Hero to Dark. There was also a sub goal, however that remains to be met. It's been a fun year since the first Twitch stream I did last November 2nd and I'm thankful to all the support whether that be subs and bits or levels and follows. A lot has changed since then, and so in this stream I do a lot of reminiscing as is only appropriate for such an anniversary.
Viewer Worlds is a twist on my usual Viewer Levels wherein basically instead of moving onto the next viewer after each level, I instead play as many levels as I can within a 15 minute span. At the end of the 15 minutes it's do or die and either I finish the level I'm on or I die in one go and we move on. Later we go an improvised version of the Lightning Round which ends up being 10 minutes or 5 lives to do as many levels as we can, whichever comes first. Also folks who aren't present got Very Nearly But Not Quite Sudden Death as usual. I thought this would be a fun change of pace for the anniversary, and I think that ended up being the case.
As for Sonic Adventure 2, it's one of my favorite games and I've played it a lot so I figured I could get through both sides in not too much time, and that proved to be true. Honestly, for a while there I was concerned I was too good at it and the 5 life limit wouldn't come into play, but... Turned out it was about right. Each of my 5 lives is represented by a different Sonic character's head, and I hope you'll enjoy looking at them as they meet their demises one by one and I get closer and closer to switching sides.
