In this excerpt from the full review of the Onimusha Warlords remaster, I talk about how the game has aged, what the remaster does in that regard, and whether Capcom's title is worth it today.
In a world dominated by magic and hidden powers, in the heart of feudal Japan, ambitious warriors battle each other for power. Amidst the chaos, the noble Princess Yukihime is kidnapped. Samanosuke, a lone samurai voiced and portrayed by actor Takeshi Kaneshiro, volunteers to rescue her and avenge her fate. However, he has no idea of the dangerous mission that awaits him: a legion of demonic warriors stands between him, the princess, and ultimate victory.
