In this excerpt from the full review of the Onimusha Warlords remaster, I discuss how Neobards Entertainment (Silent Hill F) adapted the original PS2 title to current platforms.
In a world dominated by magic and occult powers, in the heart of feudal Japan, ambitious warriors battle each other for power. Amid the chaos, the noble Princess Yukihime is kidnapped. Samanosuke, a lone samurai voiced and portrayed by actor Takeshi Kaneshiro, volunteers to rescue her and avenge her fate. However, he has no idea of the dangerous mission that awaits him: a legion of demonic warriors stands between him, the princess, and ultimate victory.
Remastered version of the original 2001 title with improved graphics, 16:9 support, and modernized controls available on PS4, Xbox, Switch, and PC.
