The Rocket Jump, a move where self-harm is the goal and just the beginning. Today on Esporthesaurus we look at the infamous move that only gamers could have concocted and that has taken on a life of it's own from Quake to Team Fortress to Deep Rock Galactic.

What started as a maneuver in a Quake Speedrun quickly developed into a game spanning device. With the release of (Valve) Team Fortress 2 (TF2) rocket jumping became a core mechanic with the soldier. It's now seen in every major FPS and is causing some incredible rocket jump highlights.
