Onward: VR tactical FPS gameplay with SubPac M2 on the HTC Vive
Gameplay from Onward, a realistic virtual reality 4v4 competitive military shooter game for the HTC Vive.
The VR gameplay in Onward is similar to Counterstrike for the PC. The goal is to kill the enemy team or reach the objective and enter a code to win the round. You can die very quickly from a single headshot or a few body shots depending on your armor, and once you die you are out for the rest of the round. Onward is currently the most popular multiplayer FPS game on the HTC Vive.
In this video I am using a SubPac M2 backpack which is a portable subwoofer system for amplifying bass. It creates a rumbling sensation in your body whenever you hear bass sounds like gunshots, engines, explosions, or other sounds. The vibration varies based on the volume, frequency, and intensity of the sound. The feedback from the SubPac M2 vastly increases your immersion in VR.
