My first impressions of the PSVR HMD as someone who has played tons of virtual reality with the HTC Vive and Rift.

Check out the Playstation VR on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-VR-Launch-Bundle-4/dp/B01DE9DY8S/?tag=bumble0b-20

Playstation VR impressed me with the visual quality and comfortable design. The tracking with the Playstation camera was also on point and the PS move controllers worked well for virtual reality. The only thing missing is roomscale capability, but there will be a ton of amazing non-roomscale game on this VR HMD.

Compared to the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift CV1, the virtual reality experience with the PSVR was fairly similar. The VR graphics are on par with many HTC Vive and Oculus Rift games, but it can't reach the same quality on high end games. PSVR feel more comfortable than the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift thanks to the crown design that lets the HMD hang in front of you face instead of strapped to your face. PSVR also has the advantage of AAA titles like Batman Arkham VR, Resident Evil 7, Tomb Raider VR, Star Wars Battlefront VR, Dead or Alive VR, and Tekken VR.

In this video I play through multiple demos and experiences from Playstation Worlds VR and the PSVR demo disc. In Playstation Worlds VR I played the Shark Encounter, Louge VR, and London Heist. On the PSVR demo disc I played Wayward Sky, RIGS Mechanized Combat League, Kitchen, and Battlezone. I also played Bloodborne using theatre mode.

Information about PSVR from Wikipedia:
"PlayStation VR, known by the codename Project Morpheus during development, is a virtual reality head-mounted display developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment, which launched on October 13, 2016.

It was designed to be fully functional with the PlayStation 4 home video game console. In certain games and demos for the VR, the player wearing the headset acts separately from other players without the headset. The PlayStation VR system can output a picture to both the PlayStation VR headset and a television simultaneously, with the television either mirroring the picture displayed on the headset, or displaying a separate image for competitive or cooperative gameplay. PlayStation VR works with either the standard DualShock 4 controller or the PlayStation Move controllers.

The PlayStation VR has a 5.7 inch OLED panel, with an RGB sub-pixel matrix resolution of 1080p, or 960 × 1080 × RGB per eye. The headset also has a processor box which enables the Social Screen video output to the television, as well as process the 3D audio effect, and uses a 3.5mm headphone jack. The headset also has 9 positional LEDs on its surface for the PlayStation Camera to track 360 degree head movement, and connects to the PlayStation by HDMI or USB."
