Open Source software is "free". Free to use. But not free like a free beer. The fact that you usually do not have to pay for the software does not mean you get everything you want for free. There is no customer support (you might have to pay for it). Developers of open-source projects do what they want to do, not what the market expects. And in the end, you might be the one that will have to pay for the changes you wish. So before choosing open-source, consider all pros and cons, not only the initial price.
